What we check during a service
Every service begins with a detailed inspection to identify wear or faults before they develop into more costly repairs. We then clean and service all accessible components, removing soot and deposits that can affect safe operation and everyday performance. Safe, efficient running is just as important as cleanliness, so we test the appliance, check ventilation and assess overall operation before finishing.
If tar build-up is present, we'll recommend suitable treatment and explain the likely causes. Where required, we can also advise whether chimney sweeping or a new stove installation would improve safety, efficiency or overall performance. Minor servicing for applicable open fires is also available where appropriate, providing a practical solution for smaller maintenance requirements.
Kyle first came to service my log burner only to find out that it had been installed inappropriately he worked hard to fix the problem now my log burner has never worked so well.
